Mandatory Compliance Training

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is committed to promoting a strong compliance culture that encourages all UTHealth employees to conduct themselves with the highest legal and ethical standards.  To that end, it is every employee's responsibility to be aware of key compliance issues that impact their jobs daily.  As such, mandatory compliance trainings are provided to educate employees on important compliance policies and procedures.  These mandatory compliance trainings are critical components of the UTHealth’s Institutional Compliance Program, which is mandated by UT System.  Currently our mandatory compliance trainings are offered online via the Training Resource Center (TRC). Mandatory compliance training is provided for both new hires and current employees as described below:

New Hires

New Employee Orientation (NEO) UTHealth Compliance Training is required for all new hires. All new hires must complete this training within 30 days of beginning employment.

Current Employees

UTHealth Compliance Training is required for all current employees and is offered annually during the spring semester. Current employees will receive an email notification when the training is available on the Training Resource Center. All current employees must complete this training within 30 days of being notified of the training.

*The content for these mandatory compliance trainings varies with each fiscal year.
