Ways to Give

There are many ways to make a difference by giving to UTHealth.

Thank you for your interest in making a gift to UTHealth. If you have any questions or if we can help in any way, please contact Michael Musters at (713) 500-3203 or Michael.V.Musters@uth.tmc.edu.

Types of Gifts

Outright Gifts

Outright gifts to UTHealth make an immediate impact and provide funding to advance excellence in education, research and clinical care. To make an outright gift, you may give online using a credit or debit card or via the additional giving methods described in the Ways to Give section below.

Endowment Gifts

Endowment gifts are a long term strategic investment in UTHealth. The initial gift is invested through The University of Texas Investment Management Company, and the distributions from the gift support UTHealth in perpetuity. To learn more about endowments, please contact Julie Platek at 713-500-3201 or Julie.C.Platek@uth.tmc.edu. You may also visit our Endowment Overview page.

Matching Gifts

Many organizations match gifts made by their employees, retirees and associates. Please check with your human resource office to determine if your employer sponsors such a program and submit the applicable form to UTHealth. The impact of your gift to UTHealth may be doubled or possibly tripled.

In Honor of/In Memory of Gifts

Outright gifts or endowment gifts may be made in honor of or in memory of individuals. An acknowledgment letter will be provided to the honoree and/or their family with a notification of your gift.

Planned Gifts

Planned gifts made now may benefit UTHealth during your life or after your lifetime. The Heritage Society recognizes generous individuals whose legacy gifts support our work as a pre-eminent institution. Such gifts include bequests through a will, retirement plan assets, charitable trusts and charitable gift annuities. To learn more about making a planned gift, please contact Shirley Druggan at (713) 500-3382 or shirley.druggan@uth.tmc.edu. Please also visit our Gift Planning webpage.
