Lauren Blieden, M.D, specializes in eye and vision care and can address a variety of vision problems. She has a special interest in glaucoma, a leading cause of blindness. Blieden completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. She has a special interest in glaucoma in adults and children. Blieden speaks fluent Spanish and has done interviews with leading Spanish language television stations.
Robert Feldman, M.D., specializes in the care of glaucoma, a leading cause of irreversible blindness. He has extensive experience in glaucoma surgical development. He is one of a few ophthalmologists whose expertise includes the medical and surgical treatment of congenital and pediatric glaucoma. He has authored or co-authored more than 300 journal articles, abstracts and books chapters related to glaucoma research. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Glaucoma Society.
Gene Kim, M.D., specializes in the diagnosis and care of problems associated with the cornea and ocular surface. He specializes in biologic and artificial corneal transplantations and has research interests in confocal microscopy for corneal infections. He see patients with general and trauma related ophthalmic problems in addition to cornea specific issues such as: ocular surface cancers, corneal infections, dry eye, and surgical vision correction. Kim performs refractive and corneal surgery as well as cataract surgery.
Karina Richani-Reverol, M.D., specializes in reconstructive, cosmetic eyelid and facial surgery, as well as tear duct surgery and orbital surgery. She utilizes the most advanced techniques and latest technology available such as endoscopic lacrimal surgery or endoscopic forehead lift. She graduated from medical school at “La Universidad del Zulia” in Maracaibo, Venezuela. She speaks fluent Spanish and has done media interviews.
